Responsibilities :

  • Lead and mentor a team of software development engineers responsible for designing, implementing, monitoring and tooling our cloud services.
  • Oversee the design, development, and implementation of features and functionality aligning with the projects goals. Ensure adherence to best practices, standards, and security protocols.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and quality assurance professionals, to ensure that everyone is aligned on project goals and progress.
  • Drive the adoption of modern technologies, tools and practices to streamline development workflows, improve efficiency, and enhance the quality and reliability of our software.
  • Understands various programming languages, frameworks, and development methodologies, which allow you to make informed decisions and solve complex technical challenges.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues. When problems arise, you use your experience and problem-solving skills to identify the root causes and implement effective solutions.
  • Manage relationships with cloud service providers, tool vendors, and other external partners.
  • Drive a culture of collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning within the team and across the organisation.

Key Skills :

  • 3+ years of experience in a leadership or management role, with demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams.
  • Ability to hire and onboard developers at rapid rate.
  • Proficiency in a variety of programming languages, including but not limited to Java, C / C++, JavaScript etc. 7+ years of professional experience developing software applications.
  • Expertise in public cloud, server-side technologies, databases and VOIP protocols.
  • Awareness of security best practices and the ability to implement security measures to protect applications and data.
  • A portfolio of past projects showcasing full-stack / VOIP development skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Strong commitment to delivering high-quality code and solutions on time and within scope.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in relevant discipline.

Desirable :

  • Experience with Contact Centre, IVR, Virtual Agents, VoIP and telecommunications is highly desirable.
  • Experience with any public cloud platform (AWS or GCP) is a huge plus.

Other requirements :

This position requires the ability to be On Call.
