The position We are currently looking for a Vice President Services and Solutions for our Physical Test Business Unit at HBK. Our new Vice President will be responsible for strategy and execution for both the service business (services, calibration and repair) as well as the solution business (customized customer projects). The VP will have P&L responsibility and will ensure growth by defining and delivering attractive value propositions, expanding revenues in close cooperation with the sales teams and serving customers with the right cost, time and service performance. This position is well suited for ambitious candidates that have experience in managing engineering / software teams, have a strong business sense and have managed teams in times of change. Primary responsibilities You will be working with / responsible for : Development of Physical Test Services and Solutions strategy, including value propositions, growth initiatives and execution plans Enhancement of the sales strategy and execution for the Physical Test Service and Solutions business in close colloboration with the commercial and marketing teams Delivery of the services (service, calibration and repair) and solution pojects to required cost, time and service performance, managed directly or indirectly with operations and product teams. Management of the P&L for the services and solutions business, carefully considering cost and growth trade offs. Driving functional excellence by identifying internal and external best practice, acting as a thought leader for the services and solutions function Building an engaged team that continues to raise the bar, while proactively supporting and complying with the Group’s policy on Code of Business Ethics and Health & Safety. Professional qualifications Bachelor or Master's degree, preferably in STEM Sciences combined with MBA. Practiced leader with 10 to 15 years’ experience, leading diverse and global teams in complex organizations, preferred in areas of product management, operations or R&D in Manufacturing or Engineering companies Managed teams in matrix organizations, accustomed to performance management and talent development. Work from anywhere and available to travel globally to visit colleagues and customers, up to 20% of your time Personal skills Lead by example, can develop and implement strategies that succeed from within clearly marked ethic and compliance boundaries.
