What skills do you need to have?
- Background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field;
- +1 year experience in COBOL programming;
- Familiarity with COBOL development tools;
- Knowledge of relational databases, especially DB2;
- Understanding of transactional systems principles, including CICS;
- Skills in SQL and data manipulation;
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
- Strong willingness to learn, adapt to legacy technological environments, and grow professionally;
- Good levelf of French (B2+ - Valued)
Some of your responsibilities will be:
- Develop and maintain applications using COBOL;
- Development tools for code optimization and operational efficiency;
- Manage and optimize SQL queries for effective manipulation of large datasets in DB2 environments;
- Apply principles of transactional systems in CICS environments;
- Integrate legacy systems with new technologies;
