Job Description : You will join DM, IM for Corporate Functions and Transverse Products teams. Our mission is to deliver innovative IT solutions that support digital transformation and efficient operations of Airbus Corporate Functions (Finance, HR, Corporate Affairs, Facilities Management, Corporate Security, M&A, Legal, ) and Transverse Products (Extended Enterprise, Archiving, Skywise , Airline Science, Advanced Analytics & Artificial Intelligence). Established in partnership with Palantir in the frame of Airbus Digital Transformation strategy initiated in 2016, Skywise is an open data platform driving the digital revolution in the aviation industry by making data shareable, open and transparent to unlock efficiency and value creation along the complete value chain (Supply Chain, Airbus Operations and Airlines). The ambition of Skywise is to create shared value for the entire aerospace industry, becoming the open data platform of reference used to support digital transformation for all participants. In 2021, Skywise joined Airbus Information Management organisation, hence warranting its transversal mission across all Airbus business functions, and also, ensuring its transition toward the future Airbus Information System (based on three pillars SAP, 3DX and Big Data Platforms), while maximizing Airbus’ digital potential around its ecosystem. In this new frame, Skywise became a dedicated Product Service Line (PSL) composed of three main Products Lines : Skywise for Airbus & its Supply Chain Skywise for Airlines & their Ecosystem Skywise Fundamentals Furthermore, Skywise will enable Airbus to become a data driven company , to improve performance today, to deliver new generations of products and services, and unlock new business models. Through this key position, the Skywise Fundamentals Product ( DMSF ) team is looking for a talented and passionate Skywise Ontology Data Modeler m / f to define and validate logical data models. You will work in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment and will closely collaborate with different development trains, stakeholders and end users to ensure that the digital solutions meet users and business needs. You are passionate about digital platforms , data analytics and motivated by the challenge and ready to constantly learn and to develop yourself and the others, this project could be yours joining the Skywise team. Tasks and responsibilities : Business analysis and Data modeling Capture and analyze data needs Analyze business needs (collection, requirements analysis) Analyze what exists (data, existing models, standards, projects, etc.) Propose solutions adapted to the needs collected and know how to explain them Design data models and interconnect them Define the architecture of objects to meet needs (in collaboration with Data Officers / Data Governance) Design the model of each data object (in collaboration with the business and Data Officers / Data Governance) Test and improve data models and processes Participate with Data Product Teams in model implementation, testing and validation activities to ensure their quality Evaluate and suggest improvements Manage the support : tickets / issues (foundry, Service Now, Salesforce) Skills & Competencies : You have the following knowledge and skills : Technical Skills : Educated to a 5 years’ degree level (or equivalent) in the field of computer science or engineering Knowledge and proven experience in data modeling concepts and techniques Knowledge of various industrial business domains (e.g engineering, manufacturing, quality, support .) Understanding the needs and problem solving skills around data Knowledge of databases and query languages (SQL, etc.) is a plus Knowledge of JAVA and Python programming languages is a plus Knowledge and experience in agile processes and practices (Scrum / Kanban, SAFe) Language skills : an advanced level of English Soft Skills : Strong organizational and project management skills Rigorous, autonomous and detailed oriented Leadership and teamwork skills Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively Interested in aeronautics, its international environment and innovation and digital technologies Be passionate about resolving user pain points through great design Ability to receive and implement feedback Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing Strong drive and autonomy Ability to prioritize effectively Willingness to learn and grow in the field Benefits - what’s in it for you Diverse career opportunities within Airbus European core countries or in other regions around the world.
