Operations Finance Manager of Rigid & Flexibles is responsible for harmonizing and standardizing the operating finance model across the segment, providing the company with timely and relevant financial information to operational decision making. This role will be based out of Santo Tirso (Portugal) and will report to the Operations Finance Director, Food Packaging. Key Responsibilities : Supervise the monthly closing process and interpretation of the monthly P&L of the site Leading forecast and budget preparation, review and presentation for each site in the segment Review Capex projects and ROI calculation before to be submitted Post mortem analysis in collaboration with site controllers Develop use of Continuous Improvement practices in finance Develop a detailed report to analyze the standard costing and measure the variances per site and production process Identify opportunities to gain productivity across the segment or division Support on SAP implementation Provide effective business partnering support to the operational teams. Establish a strong business partner culture in the segment in order to achieve defined targets by combining different skills Ad hoc project work in support of the operational sides of the business Provide leadership and direction to the financial controllers belonging to the segment Empower the team and develop the talent Key competencies : Bachelor in Business Administration, Economics or similar Professional experience of minimum 5 years as site controller or finance manager in production industries Excellent skills in MS -Excel, MS-PowerPoint and SAP Proactive, strong personality and pressure resistant Capacity to build strong business relationships internally Cross functional thinking Strong analytical skills, good judgement with strong operational focus Goals and deadlines orientated Self-management skills and Problem-solver attitude Excellent communication and presentation skills. Another European language is a plus Faster adaptation to changes Ability to cope with conflict situations LI-hybrid
